All Membership

All memberships are in line with our annual season which is 1 July - 30 June.

Junior, Senior and Associate Memberships
From 1 July 2026 all Junior, Senior and Associate membership fees will be paid through Friendly Manager. The Friendly Manager platform will replace the previous 2 step registration/payment process with SLSNZ and Ōrewa Surf Life Saving Club. If you are new to lifesaving, a SLSNZ membership number will automatically be assigned on registration.

Community Memberships
Community memberships are paid via the Ōrewa Surf Life Saving Club website. No SLSNZ membership number is required.

2026-2027 Junior Membership

Our 26-27 Junior Membership Registrations open 1 July 2026.

Requirements

  • Junior Membership is for children aged 3-13 years.

  • Children must be at least 3 years of age before 1 October in the year of the commencement of the season.

  • All Junior Memberships require at least one parent or guardian to complete SLSNZ Membership and must stay at trainings, including at the beach at the Sunday Sessions.

Includes

  • Membership includes participation in our Sunday Sessions during the warmer months (November - Easter Weekend) and opportunities to be involved in weekday beach and pool training throughout the season. Please note that a pool lane training fee and carnival entries are an extra cost.

Junior Fees

  • $160.00 1 Child & 1-2 Parents/caregivers (earlybird $140 until 30 September 2026)

  • $260.00 2 Children & 1-2 Parents/caregivers (earlybird $240 until 30 September 2026)

  • $280.00 3+ Children & 1-2 Parents/caregivers (earlybird $270 until 30 September 2026)

  • $ 30.00 Additional Equipment Levy for children 7-13 Years of age

2026-2027 Senior Membership

Requirements

  • Senior Membership is for members 14 years and over.


Includes

  • Membership includes being part of a Patrol Team and Senior & Master Pool Champs.

  • Please note that a pool lane training fee and competitive lifesaving entries are an extra cost.


Sport Fee

  • The Senior Sport Fee is additional to membership and is for all members training and/or partaking in competitive lifesaving, even if not competing.
    A Sport Fee does not need to be paid if just competing in Pool Champs events.


Senior Fees

  • $ 25.00 Senior Membership Only

  • $175.00 Senior Sport Fee Only

  • $ 35.00 Surf Lifeguard Award (This is a one off fee for new lifeguards which includes your training, manual, workbook and exam)

2026-2027 Associate Membership

Associate Membership is for anyone who has an interest in being a part of the Club. Associate Membership is $5 per person and is for the current season 1 July - 30 June each year. You can pay for your Associate Membership via Friendly Manager.

2026-2027 Community Membership

A Community Membership is for anyone who has an interest in supporting the club through social and fundraising activities held at the Club Cafe. Community Membership is $5 per person and is for the current season 1 July - 30 June each year. You can pay for your Community Membership via the Orewa Club website online shop.

How to Join

  • Community Membership are open now.

  • Your Community Membership can be purchased through our website by clicking on the button below.

  • Once your payment has been processed, you will be emailed a digital Membership ID for the current season (1 July - 30 June).

Junior, senior and associate memberships

  • Junior, Senior and Associate Memberships registrations open on 1 July each year.

  • All Ōrewa Registrations and Payments are processed through Friendly Manager by clicking on the button below.

  • Please note once you have completed a registration, you will have created a profile in our new Friendly Manager registration system. You will receive an email with a link to reset your password. To make any further registrations you will need to login to your profile to register using the login box.
    You can register more than one member at a time per registration form eg you can register multiple children for Junior Surf at the same time. However, if you need to register a Lifeguard and a Junior Member, you will need to do them on separate registration forms. After you have completed the first registration, you will then need to log into your profile to make the second registration.

  • Once your Friendly Manager registration is complete you can then download the Friendly Manager App from an app store. To join the Ōrewa Surf Life Saving Club and be kept up to date with everything happening at the club, tap “Register” and enter the Join Code BV887-ZI615.

  • Once your membership registration and payment has been processed, if you don’t already have a SLSNZ membership number this will be automatically generated and you will be emailed a digital Membership ID for the current season (1 July - 30 June).
