Head Coach

Orewa Surf Life Saving Club is looking for a new Head Coach to lead and develop our Senior Competitive Surf Squad.

Our athletes have recently helped identify what they believe makes a successful programme and a good head coach. They want purposeful training, consistent standards, clear communication and opportunities to develop. They also value enjoyment, connection and a supportive team environment.

We are looking for an experienced and passionate coach who communicates well, understands individual athletes and can provide the right balance of support and challenge.

The successful applicant will be approachable, consistent and knowledgeable. They will set clear expectations, bring people together and understand when it is time to have a laugh and when it is time to get serious.

This is an opportunity to help shape the next stage of our senior surf programme and contribute to a culture where athletes can train hard, race hard and enjoy being part of the squad.
