Plans for a new Surf Life Saving Community Hub at Ōrewa Reserve are fully consented, with a construction company appointed and over $5 million already raised.

To break ground by March 2026, the club is seeking further funding and community support.

More than 100 tradies and suppliers have rallied to build a house pro-bono, to support the local surf club.

The club will use the proceeds from the sale of the house to build a new community hub, where it will base its lifeguards and youth development projects.
