Community Rescue Buoy Installed

Thanks to ACC and AON, a new public rescue buoy has been installed at Ōrewa Beach. 
This is located on the beach side of the Ōrewa Surf Life Saving Club building,
at the top of the concrete ramp.  

If you see someone in trouble dial 111 and ask for the police. 

Only use this device if you can swim.

Instructions for Use:
1. Place strap over shoulder
2. Pull rescue buoy behind you
3. Keep 2m clear until person is calm
4. Wait for help to arrive

X marks the spot of the newly installed rescue buoy
