HELP PROTECT OREWA RESERVE

ORCA and the Ōrewa Surf Life Saving Club are inviting residents and reserve users to attend a public meeting to discuss Council proposals
Held at the Ōrewa Surf Life Saving Club - Tuesday 24 June 2025, 7.00pm

ORCA Proposes:

  • a rock wall to protect the reserve and facilities

COUNCIL Proposes Naturalisation & Sand Dunes:

  • Remove 11 Norfolk Pine and 51 Pohutukawa Trees

  • Relocate/remove playground, basketball & volleyball courts

  • Significant loss of on-site parking

  • Significant loss of grassed reserve
