Fishermans Cove Rescue

The Police Eagle helicopter, ambulance crews and lifeguards were sent to the scene at Fishermans Cove, Whangaparaoa where a man was trapped on the rocks. After being stranded on the rocks surrounded by giant waves for over an hour, Lifeguards - Tom and Faron from Orewa Surf Life Saving Club successfully pulled the man to safety.
